Every marble coaster starts on the same marbling bath used for lampshades and journals: pigment floated on water, combed into a pattern, then lifted onto paper in a single pass. Because that pass can’t be repeated exactly, each coaster marble design in a set is closely related but never identical.

Each coaster’s marble design is finished with a protective seal, so it withstands condensation from drinks without warping or staining after one use.
