I cannot believe that the summer season is just around the corner. Parties, events and plenty of barbecues are being put on the calender. As the invitations are being received, thoughts of hostess gifts will come to mind.

New From the Lamp Workshop
Some of my latest creations from the workshop at Shandell’s, in Millerton, New York. I’ve made lamps out just about everything. Pairing my lamps with a wonderful shades is like putting icing on a cake—the best part. My styles and vary often: sporting art, horses, dogs, bugs, and nature. Most of all, I just like to create.
Shandell's is the creative home of me, Susan Schneider, a longtime collector of things vintage with a passion for recycling them into things that make you smile. Shandell's, a working lampshade and vintage lighting studio, is located at the corner of Route 22 and Route 44, at 5916 North Elm Avenue, Millerton, New York, 12546, housed in a newly renovated century-old building. I draw on a collection of thousands of unique handmade papers, antique wallpapers and other very special materials in my work.
