A very good customer gave me a box of matches 15 years ago with a postcard pasted to the top of it. I loved those and used them daily through out my house. Now I make these with wood tops that are covered with vintage images and trimmed in copper.
Each box of matches has a different image per side. They measure 2 5/8 inches x 4 7/8 inches. When the box of matches is empty just refill with standard kitchen matches.
All the materials that are used (except for the ink) are made in the USA. Shandell’s matchboxes have gone green: The matches are now made from renewable sources and are eco-friendly.
These are a great gifts, either for someone else or yourself. Put them around the house, on the mantel, in the bathroom, on the kitchen counter, on the coffee table. Enjoy.
